1. Arnie, Butterfield, Centre Manager retires 2. We celebrate Volunteers Week 3. Save the Date for our summer celebration event on 16th July 2025
1. Fibromylagia & Joint Support group celebrates Fibromyalgia Awareness Day and changes sessional days and times to the 2nd Monday of the month 12.30 - 2 P.M. 2. Carers celebrate VE Day and change their times to the 3rd Monday of the month from 12.30 - 2.30 P.M. plus there will be no session in June due to holidays.

1. Activities still running from the centre through May but remember to check in with your session coordinators and coaches regarding any closures during the school holidays. 2. Thank you to Bradford Council Department of Adult Social Care & Health for our Local Community Support Grant to pay for our Live Better project (Carer's Cafe & Fibromyalgia & Joint Support). 3. Thanks to Asda, Solenis, Tesco and TL Dallas, for their generous contributions for Easter. 4. We hosted an Easter Party for community members last month as part of our ‘Community Events Programme,’ made possible by funding from the BD4 Plus Community Partnership. Thank you! Additionally, a heartfelt thank you to our incredible volunteers.

April News

Sedbergh Youth & Community Centre’s April Newsletter Anger Management Course A new Anger Management course will take place at the Sedbergh Centre from Tuesday 22nd of April - 10 A.M. - 12 P.M. for 6 weeks. To enrol call 07538 218 491. Admission is free. The next Sedbergh Carers' Cafe is Monday, April 14th, from 10:30 A.M. to 12:30 P.M. and includes a light lunch, engaging games and information & support. Admission is just £2. Toddlers’ Stay & Play & Youth Club will close week commencing 7th & 14th April The March Fibromyalgia & Joint Support Group celebrated International Women's Day, Mother's Day and Eid! Come along next time on Wednesday 16th April from 10.30 - 12.00 noon. Admission: £2.00. We are asking for toy donations for our Toddlers’ Stay & Play group. As a fun twist, we're hosting a "Name the Bear" fundraiser for the chance to win a cuddly, giant bear. If you have anything that you wish to donate, please contact the centre on 01274 679843.
